Opportunity:

Travel RN - Renal Med-Surg

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* 36 hours per week with every other weekend required
* Travel/Temporary contract type
* 21-bed Renal/Medical-Surgical unit specializing in acute and chronic kidney disease, post-dialysis needs, and complex medical-surgical conditions
* Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult renal and medical-surgical patients
* Manage patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and post-dialysis needs
* Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry
* Collaborate with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
* Float as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders
* Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience required (renal experience strongly preferred)
* Proven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips required
* Epic EMR proficiency is mandatory - no training provided; lack of proficiency results in immediate termination
* Competency test required on Day 1; failure results in immediate contract termination
* Active Ohio RN license required at time of submission
* Current BLS certification required
* No on-call requirements
* Must demonstrate adaptability, efficiency, and strong critical thinking in a high-volume setting
