Opportunity:

Medical Assistant / Outpatient Clinic

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule with block scheduling available
* No on-call requirements
* No weekend requirement
* No floating required between units
* 14-room outpatient clinic averaging approximately 25 visits per day
* Patient population includes infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required
* Adult and pediatric outpatient clinic and private physician office experience preferred
* Internal Medicine and Pediatrics experience preferred
* Required skills include obtaining vital signs, height/weight, pulse oximetry, hearing and vision screenings, and 12-lead EKG/ECGs
* Must be comfortable reviewing patient history, medications, and allergies, as well as administering immunizations and intradermal and intramuscular injections
* Point-of-care testing experience required, including blood glucose, pregnancy, strep, and urinalysis
* Experience with pharmacy/refill requests, scheduling appointments, stocking supplies, telephone triage, follow-up calls, reviewing lab results, rooming patients, ear lavage, and suture removal required
* Charting system: Cerner (required)
* Scrub color: Any color
* Required certifications: BLS
* CMA or RMA preferred

This outpatient clinic is a 14-room facility providing comprehensive medical services to a diverse patient population spanning all age groups, from infants to geriatrics. The clinic operates Monday through Friday and focuses on delivering high-quality outpatient care in a collaborative environment. With a steady patient volume of approximately 25 visits per day, the facility offers a structured and consistent work environment for healthcare professionals.
