Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* Every other weekend requirement, subject to change as needed
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Must have active RRT SC license in hand - pending licenses not accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Trauma Level 1 experience required
* Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
* Must be proficient in Adult Critical Care work settings
* Required skills include: Extubation, nasal airway placement, suctioning, oral airway placement, oral suctioning, pulmonary hygiene, sputum specimen collection, and tracheostomy care
* Must be experienced with administering albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Lidocaine, Perforomist, Pulmicort, racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Tobramycin, and Xopenex
* Must be experienced in delivering medication through aerosol setup mask, aerosol setup trach, Medihaler, and Metered Dose Inhaler
* Must have experience with handheld, T-piece, and trach collar nebulizers
* Must have experience with high flow nasal cannula and trach collar oxygen therapy
* Must have experience with BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting high pressure alarms, and weaning from mechanical ventilation
* Required experience with Servo U ventilator
* Responsible for all adult respiratory modalities including ventilator management, treatments, and transports
* May be required to float to other units or campuses based on census needs, limited to areas where qualified with documented competencies
* All time-off requests must be submitted at time of submission for consideration

This large healthcare facility operates an 800-bed hospital with comprehensive respiratory services, rapid response teams, and transportation support. The facility maintains a full suite of adult respiratory modalities and supports interdisciplinary care across multiple units and campuses. As a Level 1 Trauma center, the organization provides advanced clinical care and utilizes modern charting and ventilator technology to support its patient population of adults and geriatric patients.
