Job Details:

* Start times vary between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM as needed
* Rotating weekends required, may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
* No on-call required
* Facility may call off once per two-week pay period (guaranteed hours)
* Strong generalist experience required
* Minimum 1 year of hospital experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ASCP-MLT, State License CDPH
* Required skills include: 24-hour urine, blood specimen storage, body fluids, cardiac enzymes, CBC manual, crystal identification, factor assays, fibrinogen, hormone/thyroid testing, immunoassay, manual differential, manual macroscopic and microscopic urinalysis, osmolality, pipetting, platelet count, pregnancy testing, quality assurance and controls, rapid test kits, reporting test results, reticulocyte count, QC review and interpretation, rheumatoid factor, RPR, sed rate manual, specimen preparation and receipt, therapeutic drug monitoring, tumor markers, and transmission-based precautions
* Scrub color: Navy Blue (RCP/Imaging Lab/Non-Invasive Cardiology/Radiation Oncology/Material Management)
