Opportunity:

RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Must have charge experience and be willing to work charge
* 13-week assignment
* Weekend shift with 4 weekend shifts per month required
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* No on-call requirements
* 2+ years of L&D experience required
* Patient ratio of 2:1
* 12-bed unit with 1 unit tech each shift and 1 unit secretary on day shift
* Documentation system: Meditech (experience preferred)
* Floating policy applies as needed
* Perform C-section circulations on unit
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN)
* Active TX RN license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
* RNC certification preferred
* Facility will provide scrubs
* Nails must be clean and healthy
* Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited

This facility is a well-equipped labor and delivery unit offering comprehensive maternity care services. The unit supports a range of obstetric procedures including C-section circulations and maintains a low patient-to-nurse ratio to ensure quality patient care. The unit is supported by dedicated nursing staff, unit technicians, and secretarial support to provide a well-rounded care environment.
