Open Position: OT - OT

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2249.20

Opportunity:

TRAVEL - OT (766) - Wesley Medical Center - 8A - 4P

Job Details:

* Work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
* Located on the 1st floor, Building 3 of the facility
* Daily census of approximately 250 active consults per day
* Typically 8-10 patients assigned to OTR per day
* 2:1 OTR to COTA ratio
* Perform OT evaluations and OT treatments
* Work with general acute care DME equipment
* Utilize Meditech EMR system
* Minimum 6 months of hospital OT experience required
* BLS certification required
* Active Kansas licensure required
* Trauma experience preferred
* Comprehensive stroke experience preferred
* Must be able to work independently with little oversight and high accountability
* Strong communication and collaboration skills required
* Flexibility required given the nature of practice in acute care

This facility features a large therapy team working in a complex acute care environment with a wide variety of diagnosis groups. The occupational therapy department operates with a highly collaborative team approach and offers flexible scheduling to meet staff needs. The team enjoys a great deal of autonomy in care planning and works hand in hand with an interdisciplinary team to meet the needs of patients and the surrounding community.
