Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1641.40

Opportunity:

Medical Assistant - OBGYN

Job Details:

* 8-hour shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM
* No weekend shifts required
* Floating required as needed between Beverly Hills, Los Feliz, and Playa Vista locations
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated
* Minimum 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting required
* Minimum 1 year of OBGYN experience required
* Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP accredited program required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC only), CMA
* Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture required
* Experience with OBGYN procedures required: PAP, Colposcopy, LEEP, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions and removals, Nexplanon, and NST
* Charting experience required; Epic experience required
* Perform rooming of patients, vital signs, blood and specimen collection, and patient histories
* Administer medications and immunizations, including intramuscular injections
* Conduct telephone triage and follow-up phone calls
* Label specimens and perform urinalysis/urine dipstick procedures
* Address patient, physician, and staff concerns and escalate accordingly
* Assist with QA measures including recording QC testing on designated equipment
* Monitor workflow and identify opportunities for improvement
* Participate in daily huddles and staff meetings
* Adhere to all infection prevention standards, department policies, and guidelines

Facility:

This outpatient OBGYN office operates with approximately 20 providers and specializes in women's reproductive health. The facility offers a comprehensive range of services including women's health care, OB visits, GYN consults, and OB/GYN procedures. The practice is committed to delivering high-quality care across multiple locations, ensuring accessible and specialized treatment for its patient population.
