Opportunity:

RN - Critical Care

Job Details:

* Render professional nursing care to patients within an assigned critical care unit
* Minimum 3 years of critical care experience preferred
* Assist with insertion of Flow wire, Opsens, and IVUS
* Demonstrate contraindications and reversal for IV adenosine infusion
* Safely administer procedural sedation and pass annual sedation examination
* Document sedation according to policies and procedures
* Complete all unit specific competencies and requirements for critically ill patient care
* Complete clinical documentation and care plans comprehensively and in a timely manner
* Perform hourly rounding in collaboration with Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs)
* Communicate patient information appropriately during hand offs, walking rounds, and physician interactions
* Participate in quality improvement planning and processes
* Collaborate with nursing students, instructors, and interdisciplinary team members
* Participate in peer review and DNV survey readiness
* Current New Hampshire RN license required
* BLS required
* ACLS required
* Basic Dysrhythmia certification preferred or must be obtained prior to completion of orientation
* NHISS certification preferred or must be obtained prior to completion of orientation
* Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or must be obtained prior to completion of orientation
* Graduate of an approved Nursing program preferred
* Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
