Job Details:

* Seasonal travel assignment in the Operating Room
* Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* Flexibility required for day and evening hours as needed
* On-call requirements of 1-2 call shifts per week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
* Must be competent in Neuro/Spine procedures
* Must have Ortho/Joint experience
* Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital experience as CST required
* NBSTA and DORA certifications required prior to submission
* BLS certification required
* Patient ratio is 1:1 (estimated, not guaranteed)
* EMR system used is Meditech; prior Meditech experience preferred
* Level I and trauma experience preferred
* Typical procedures include Neuro, Transplants, and Ortho/Spine
* Strong team player with high level of accountability, expertise, and self-direction expected
* 14 ORs on unit with a staff of 70 FTEs

Facility:

This facility is a main hospital featuring a well-staffed operating room with 14 ORs and 70 FTEs supporting a variety of surgical specialties. The unit operates with a structured day and night shift team including charge nurses, RNs, surgical technologists, PCTs, and a dedicated trauma team. The facility provides a dynamic surgical environment with exposure to complex procedures including neurological, transplant, and orthopedic cases.
