Open Position: RN - Med Surg Oncology

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2008.44

Opportunity:

RN MedSurg/Oncology

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Patient ratio of 1:5/6
* Work on a 31-bed Oncology Med Surg unit
* Perform general med surg procedures including chemo administration, neutropenia precautions, post-op care, CBI, and hospice care
* Operate standard med surg equipment including some traction equipment
* Meditech EMR experience preferred
* Float within med surg as needed
* Required certifications: BLS
* ACLS preferred
* Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required
* Post-surgical care experience required
* ONC Chemo experience preferred
* Oncology or med surg certification preferred but not required
* Active Texas RN license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
* Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
* No artificial nails, gel, or next gen nails permitted
* Hair must be neat with no extreme styles or colors and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
* Body art must be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
