Open Position: RN - Endoscopy GI

Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy/GI Lab

Job Details:

* 4x10 variable day shifts with call responsibilities
* 1 night shift call per week with a 30-minute call response time required
* 1 weekend call every 5-6 weeks required
* Holiday call requirements apply
* Self-scheduling with balance to ensure unit needs are met
* 1:1 patient ratios in a 3-suite Endoscopy/GI Lab unit
* Provide intraprocedural care of patients, charting, and tools and scope cleaning
* Common cases include colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP, bronchoscopies, and Ion procedures
* Pulmonary cases performed on Wednesdays and Fridays
* Floating requirements apply
* Previous GI experience required
* Charting system: EPIC
* Hospital-provided scrubs
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA)
* BSN not required

This acute care facility operates at a Level 1 trauma designation, reflecting its capacity to handle the most critical and complex patient cases. The Endoscopy and GI Lab department features 3 procedure suites supported by experienced technicians and nurse aides. The facility utilizes EPIC as its charting system and maintains high standards for patient care across its specialized departments.
