Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

* Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Fridays 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
* No on-call required outside of rotating weekend and holiday call coverage for true oncologic emergencies
* No weekends required outside of rotation schedule
* No floating between units
* Patient ratio of 20 patients per Radiation Therapist
* Patient population is primarily adults with some pediatric patients
* Daily census of approximately 45 patients
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* All Radiation Therapists rotate amongst all treatment modalities and equipment, including simulation with contrast orders and motion management orders
* Robust program offering brachytherapy, EBRT, SBRT, SRS, and FSRT on Gamma Knife treatment modalities
* Utilize Elekta Mosaiq Record and Verify System with Epic electronic medical record
* Equipment includes Elekta Linear Accelerators (Infinity and VersaHD), Gamma Knife ICON, HDR Flexitron, C-arm fluoroscopy, and GE Discovery CT/Simulator
* Required skills include CBCT/kV/mV imaging, CT Simulation, IMRT, External Beam Therapy, Electron Beam Therapy, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, and Gamma Knife radiosurgery
* Scrub color: Galaxy Blue/Royal Blue for Radiation Therapists
* Free parking available in any unrestricted space with bike racks available
* Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, and Texas Medical Board (TMB) License
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
