Opportunity:

RD - Dietician

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* 5x8 shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* 1 year of experience required
* BLS certification required
* CDR - RD/RDN license required
* Missouri Licensed Dietician State License required (pending license accepted but must be obtained prior to start date)
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Work with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Perform nutrition assessments and reassessments across a variety of patient diagnoses
* Skills required include dysphagia management, TPN, fluid/electrolyte requirements, protein calorie malnutrition, and nutrient deficiencies
* Additional skills include managing patients on insulin, steroids, diuretics, immunosuppressants, laxatives, and radiation therapy
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Float to another department as Helping Hands or take a patient assignment may be required
* RTO should be kept to a minimum with no full calendar week requests off; any RTO must be approved before start
* Expect to work some holidays
* 60-mile radius restriction applies with no exceptions
* Local candidates not accepted

This healthcare facility is a short-term acute care hospital with 114 beds and a daily census of approximately 55 patients. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support.
