Job Details:

* 4x10 hour shifts working days, evenings, and nights on a varied schedule based on department need
* Required to work every weekend
* Float between two locations: one in CT and one in RI
* Must obtain both state licenses (CT and RI); may start with whichever license issues first while the other is pending
* Minimum 1.5 years of hospital experience required; 2 years preferred
* Experience with GE and Siemens equipment required
* GE Optima CT660 Scanner experience preferred
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Night patient ratio: 2; Weekend patient ratio: 2
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, RI and CT state licenses
* Required skills include: 3D rendering, abdomen without and/or with contrast, chest without and/or with contrast, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, enterography study, head without and/or with contrast, multiplanar reconstruction, musculoskeletal trauma, pelvis without and/or with contrast, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, soft tissue neck, vascular CTA, venipuncture, and starting peripheral IVs
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
* Special equipment includes ceiling Hoyer lift
* Facility serves as a stroke center and trauma center

This short-term acute care Level III trauma center operates with 252 total staffed beds and is part of a major regional health system. The facility offers free parking and utilizes Epic for charting. The organization provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services and operates as both a stroke center and trauma center, delivering high-quality care across a broad range of patient populations and medical needs.
