Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Home Care

Job Details:

* Home care setting serving patients across a territory with a 40-80 mile radius
* Self-scheduling with approximately 6 patient visits per day
* Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract
* No on-call requirements
* No weekend requirements
* 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certification: BLS
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Gray
* Mileage reimbursed at $0.55 per mile
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy and social services
* Required skills include: Activities of Daily Living, Adaptive Equipment Assessment, Cognitive Assessment, Evaluation, Home Health Care, OASIS, Patient/Family Education, Plan of Care, Reassessments, Safety and Injury Prevention, Lifting and Transfer, and Upper and Lower Extremity care
* Maximum of 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract; no RTO permitted during the first week of assignment
