Job Details:

* Work 4x10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* On-call required: 1 call per week and 1 late, with 1 to 2 weekends every 6 weeks (call requirements may change based on staffing needs)
* Weekend coverage required: 1 to 2 weekends every 6 weeks (covered in call requirement)
* Floating between service lines required with possible floating to sister facilities
* 3+ years of experience preferred
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA (NCCT not accepted)
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
* Free parking available with pass distributed at pickup
* Block schedule available with manager approval dependent on unit needs
* Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
* Patient age groups: Adolescents and Adults (Pediatrics preferred)
* Daily average surgical case volume: 25 cases
* 8 operating rooms
* Special equipment includes: MAZOR, MAKO, DAVINCI, and MADACTA TABLE
* Preferred skills include but are not limited to: laparoscopic assisted cases, spinal fusion, total hip and knee replacement, trauma, robotic procedures, general OR, craniotomy, organ donation, cardiac procedures, and thoracic surgery

This acute care hospital features 75 staffed beds and offers a comprehensive surgical environment with 8 operating rooms. The facility supports a wide range of surgical specialties and utilizes advanced technology including robotic and navigation systems. The organization maintains high standards for surgical care and supports travelers with provided scrubs and complimentary parking.
