Opportunity:

RN - Postpartum

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required with high acuity postpartum experience
* Float required between Issaquah Campus (Postpartum) and Edmonds Campus (Postpartum), including Labor and Delivery for 2nd hour of recovery
* 6 weekend days per contract required
* Standard patient ratio of 4 couplets with potential for a 4th couplet during census surge
* Required skills and experience include: High Risk Obstetric care, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Foley catheter, Postpartum hemorrhage management, Substance withdrawal, Cesarean Section, Episiotomy/incision care, Fundus/lochia/perineum care, and Vaginal Delivery
* EPIC charting system experience is required - hard stop requirement
* JADA experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience
* Must be comfortable managing a high-volume, high-census environment with a diverse patient population including infants and adults
* Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities - refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours

Facility:

This facility is a large-volume, high-census healthcare organization specializing in High Risk Obstetric care. The unit consists of 57 beds and rooms serving a diverse patient population, with a daily census of 45 patients. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary services.
