Cardiac Sonographer

Job Details:

* Weekend coverage required
* Float may be required to sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Must hold RDCS or RCS national certificate
* Required certifications: BLS, CCI, RDCS, ARRT Sonography, ARDMS or CCI
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level I experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Must be proficient in reporting, TEE, Watchman, Mitral clips, and bubble studies
* Required skills include: 3-D Echo, Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Bubble Study, M-Mode, Treadmill Stress Echo, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, Imaging with Contrast Agents, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG, PACS, and procedures on patients in ICU/ED settings
* Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

The facility provides access to physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support.
