Job Details:

* Day shift with flexible start times: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, or 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM
* On-call responsibilities include after hours coverage, every other weekend, and 2 weeknights per week
* Minimum two years of recent experience in the field required
* Performs, assists, and completes Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations
* Performs active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using complex and sophisticated equipment
* Operates equipment to produce digital images of designated body portions as ordered by physicians
* Positions and instructs patients for examinations and performs specialized studies
* Assists physicians with specialized procedures including cardiac catheterization and contrast enhanced radiographs of the heart and cardiovascular system
* Enters technical factors such as radiation beam quality and filming sequences into computer systems
* Models, mentors, and trains staff on technical skills
* Provides input into hiring and promotion decisions for staff
* Required certifications: BLS certification from an approved vendor, Fluoroscopy (FLUORO), Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS), Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
* Radiologic Tech (RT) state license required
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred
* Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred
* Bachelor's Degree in radiologic technology preferred
* Three years of technical experience preferred
* Experience as a Special Procedures Technologist preferred
