Opportunity:
RRT - Respiratory Therapist
Job Details:
* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Every other weekend schedule required
* Travelers will work 2 of 3 major holidays
* May be placed on low census
* Handle 5-6 ventilator patients and approximately 35 treatments per 12-hour shift
* Perform ABG draws and analysis, administer treatments, and manage ventilator settings
* Treat adults, pediatric, and neonatal patients (neonatal only if NICU trained)
* Attend all deliveries and C-sections
* Cover inpatient areas and may float to Foothills Freestanding ED (15-minute drive)
* Travelers are not required to intubate independently but must assist with intubation
* Intensivist in house 24/7 with a Charge RRT on each shift
* May be the only RT on-site when working at Foothills Freestanding ED
* Equipment used includes: Avea and Hamilton C1 ventilators, V60 and EV300 BiPAP, Aerovo 2 HiFlow, Zoll backup vents, Glidescope and Glidescope-GO for intubation
* Charting system: EPIC
* Black scrubs required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT Verification (NRP required if NICU trained)
* Active Arizona RRT license required - no CRT accepted
* BSN not required
