Opportunity:

Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray)

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every 3rd weekend required
* No on-call responsibilities
* May float to like units within scope to meet facility needs
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT)(R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT)(C)
* Required certifications: SCRQSA, BLS, ACLS
* South Carolina license required
* Experience highly preferred in: Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, Orthopedic exams in both modalities, Siemens equipment, Epic, and PACS
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Scrub color: Teal blue top, black bottoms
* Parking cost: Nights and weekends only; one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Agency must provide radiation badge; facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
* Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Primary patient diagnoses include STEMI, Stroke/CVA, Cardiac, and Trauma
* Perform procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, vascular, and musculoskeletal imaging with and without contrast
* Operate Siemens X-Ray and Siemens CT equipment
* Skilled in 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering preferred
* Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Facility:

This facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds. The facility supports a broad range of complex patient care needs including cardiac, stroke, and trauma services. Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services and radiology, and the facility handles both inpatient and some outpatient imaging procedures primarily serving an adult population with some pediatric cases.
