Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
* Every other weekend rotation required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Holiday expectations are unit dependent
* Schedule released 6 weeks at a time
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted with 2 years of experience
* Clinical interview required
* Work across all departments within the facility as assigned each shift
* Patient population includes medical/surgical, critical care, emergency, and mainly adult/geriatric patients with possible pediatric/infant cases
* Patient ratios determined by census and acuity using a points system acuity tool
* Required certifications: RRT, ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS
* Must be proficient with basic respiratory therapy skills and critical care experience
* Experience with ventilators, BiPAPs, and high-flow nasal cannula required
* Familiarity with all other respiratory equipment and accessories required
* Some nursery experience helpful but not required if NRP certified
* Must be proficient with EPIC EMR
* Must be comfortable operating Getinge Servo-u ventilators and Pyxis medication dispensing system
* Scrub color: any solid color with matching top and bottom

This 123-bed community hospital operates as a Level 3 Trauma Center, providing a broad range of medical services including medical/surgical, critical care, and emergency care. As a smaller community facility, respiratory therapists work across all departments and collaborate closely with the RT manager and team leads.
