Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Opportunity:

NICU/PICU RRT

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* Every other weekend required with coverage on at least every other Friday and Monday
* Friday and Saturday nights required for weekend coverage
* Holiday coverage required
* Block scheduling available for weekends only (Friday through Sunday)
* RTO requests must be submitted at time of submission and cannot exceed 5 days maximum
* Minimum 2 years of experience in specific specialty required
* First-time travelers accepted with required experience
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
* Ohio single state or multi-state license required
* Epic charting experience preferred
* May float within hospital, potentially to Liberty campus
* Work with patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults
* Equipment includes ventilators (Servo's, Trilogy, LTV's, Oscillator), high flow, non-invasive support, nitric oxide, airway clearance devices (IPV, Vest, Cough Assist), and Metaneb
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
* Supervisor reference within past 2 years required

This large pediatric healthcare facility operates with 762 beds and provides specialized care across multiple units including PICU, NICU, CICU, Med-Surg, Ortho, Pulmonary, Asthma, BMT, and Transitional Care. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support services and is equipped with advanced respiratory and specialty care equipment to serve patients ranging from neonates through adolescents and adults.
