Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Opportunity:

NICU/PICU RRT

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Every other weekend required, including at least every other Sunday or more
* Friday and Saturday nights required for weekend coverage
* Block scheduling available for weekends only (Friday through Sunday)
* Minimum 2 years of experience in specific specialty required
* First-time travelers accepted with required experience
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
* Ohio single state or multi-state nursing license required
* Epic charting experience preferred
* Must be comfortable working with ventilators including Servo's, Trilogy, LTVs, and Oscillator
* Must be comfortable working with high flow, non-invasive support, nitric oxide, and airway clearance equipment including IPV, Vest, Cough Assist, and Metaneb
* Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults
* May float within the hospital, potentially to Liberty campus
* Maximum of 5 days of requested time off per contract, must be submitted at time of submission
* Supervisor reference within past 2 years required
* No previous license hits permitted

This world-class pediatric healthcare facility operates with 762 beds and provides specialized care across multiple units including PICU, NICU, CICU, Med-Surg, Ortho, Pulmonary, Asthma, BMT, and Transitional Care. The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries, ensuring a well-supported environment for both patients and staff.
