Open Position: RN - Med Surg Neuro/Trauma Float Pool

Opportunity:

RN - Travel Nurse (Multi-Unit Float)

Job Details:

* Night shift position from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Required to float to multiple inpatient units including Medical, Surgical/Pediatrics, Ortho/Neuro, and Sub-Acute Unit
* Every other weekend and holiday shifts required
* Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
* Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act
* Document according to standards of care
* Develop, initiate, and execute patient plans of care according to individualized patient needs as prescribed by physician and/or hospital policy
* Provide patient and family instruction as part of the care plan
* Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
* Utilize clinical expertise to provide guidance to other units and departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care
* Apply critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience and escalate appropriately
* Required certifications: NIHSS and CPR/BLS
* Current Wisconsin (WI) nursing license required
* Education verification required
