RN - Outpatient Dialysis

Job Details:

* Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
* Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act
* Document according to standards of care
* Develop, initiate, and execute patient plans of care according to individualized patient needs as prescribed by physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction
* Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
* Utilize clinical expertise and provide guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care
* Apply critical thinking in regards to patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalate to the appropriate chain of command
* Current Wisconsin (WI) nursing license required
* Required certifications: AHA Provider Level BLS, AHA Provider Level ACLS
* Education verification required
