Opportunity:

Acute Care Occupational Therapist

Job Details:

* Work 4x10 shifts Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Daily caseload of 8 to 11 patients per therapist
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Daily census of 12 to 16 patients
* Department is open 7 days a week
* No weekend, on-call, or floating requirements
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Preferred generalist who is confident with medical diagnoses
* Preferred ability to manage moderate to maximum assist patients and co-treatments
* Ability to work with ventilated patients and pivot to pick up additional evaluations throughout the day preferred
* Charting system: Cerner (experience preferred)
* Scrub color: Business casual
* Free parking available
* Required certifications and licenses: Arizona OT License (must be in hand), BLS, Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
* Key skills include: Acute Care, Adaptive Equipment, Assessment, Evaluation, Discharge Planning, Patient/Family Education, Plan of Care, Lifting and Transfer, Safety and Injury Prevention, Fall/Risk Assessment, and Upper and Lower Extremity care
