Opportunity:
CT Technologist
Job Details:
* Night shift position working Wednesday through Tuesday
* Weekday shift hours: 7:45 PM to 6:15 AM
* Weekend shift hours: 6:45 PM to 6:15 AM
* Work alongside other night technologists
* Operate GE CT scanners
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred; Trauma Level II experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, BLS
* Perform a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal studies
* Perform advanced imaging including brain perfusion, coronary CTA, vascular CTA, and cardiac studies such as calcium scoring
* Conduct 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
* Perform multiplanar reconstruction and region of interest measurements
* Administer and prepare contrast media and start peripheral IVs
* Perform venipuncture and maintain radiation safety protocols
* Serve patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Work in emergency department and ICU settings
* Maintain isolation precautions and PPE standards
* Utilize PACS system
Facility:
This hospital is a comprehensive acute care facility with 240 beds and 3 CT rooms, serving an average daily census of 120 patients with approximately 120 visits per day. The facility operates as a Level II Trauma Center and supports a wide range of patient populations from neonates to geriatrics. The department is equipped with GE CT scanners and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system, maintaining high standards for imaging quality and patient care across emergency, ICU, and outpatient settings.
