Open Position: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:

* Work 8-hour or 10-hour rotating shifts with scheduling adjusted per unit needs to meet guaranteed hours
* 40 hours per week guaranteed
* Weekend requirement included in schedule
* Holiday requirement included in schedule
* On-call is required
* Every other weekend (EOW) required
* First to float between Bryan and College Station campus (16 minutes apart) as needed
* Perform nuclear medicine studies including cardiac, HIDA, bone scan, gastric emptying, GI bleed, lung, brain death, and DAT scans
* Average of 12 scans/studies per day (cardiac = 2)
* Must be able to start IVs
* Work with Siemens Symbia T6 equipment
* Charting system: MEDITECH; PACS: Fuji Synapse; NMIS also utilized
* Department currently operates 1 scanner with a second in process of being added
* Radiologist in-house until 5:00 PM with remote reads until midnight
* Wear black scrubs
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT)
* Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination
