Open Position: Dietician - Dietician

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2249.20

Opportunity:

CONTRACT - DIETITIAN - NUTRITION (769) - 13 WEEKS

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
* Weekends as needed
* 13-week contract assignment
* Average patient workload of 10 to 15 patients per day
* Perform nutrition-focused physical exams
* Utilize iPhones for communication with team
* Work with Meditech EMR system
* Cover patients throughout the facility with flexibility
* Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines including physicians, nurses, speech-language pathologists, diabetes educators, and case managers
* Critical care experience required
* Experience with adults and geriatrics required
* NICU experience preferred to help support coverage during PTO
* Required certifications: RD (Registered Dietitian) and LD (Licensed Dietitian) in the state of Texas
* Order-writing privileges for adding oral supplements, downgrading diets, and modifying enteral nutrition orders once physician places initial order
* Dress code: Olive green scrubs (moss color in FIGS)

Facility:

This medical center is a 350-bed facility with a dedicated clinical nutrition department staffed by experienced registered dietitians, including a clinical nutrition manager with 10+ years of experience. The department utilizes a mobile communication app for seamless interaction with providers and the broader healthcare team, enabling timely implementation of nutrition recommendations. The facility has been recognized for its Best Practice for Wound Care Initiative in the Central and West Texas Division, where registered dietitians receive nutrition consult referrals when wound care is consulted.
