Open Position: Certified Surgical Tech - Certified Surgical Tech CVOR

RN - CVOR

Job Details:

* Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
* 1:1 patient ratio in a 2-bed unit
* Float to main operating rooms as needed per floating policy
* Scrub or circulate procedures including room set up and room turnover
* Obtain disposables and instrument sets as needed
* Perform advanced skills including sterile technique, central line set up, arterial line set up, Belmont set up and operation, and cell saver set up
* Assist with open heart procedures including CABG, MVR, TVR, AVR, VATS, and vascular procedures
* Work with equipment including Belmont, ESU, and positioning equipment
* Document using Meditech Expanse system
* Direct patient contact requiring excellent communication skills and a team-based approach to problem solving
* Scrubs are provided
* Required certification: BLS
* CNOR certification preferred

The unit is supported by board runners, charge nurses, service line coordinators, and ancillary assistance for room turnovers, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment. The facility is equipped with modern technology and tools to support complex cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures.
