Opportunity:
Family Medicine MA-C
Job Details:
* 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (no weekends)
* 13-week contract length
* No on-call or weekend requirements
* May float between Downtown Seattle clinic and Central Seattle clinic depending on staffing needs
* Works in a team-based approach with MA to clinician ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:2
* At least 6 months of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) required
* Internal Medicine experience preferred; Family Medicine, Adult, or Pediatric Outpatient setting experience required
* EPIC charting experience required
* Scrub color: Any color
* Required certifications: BLS, CMA
* Must be comfortable in a fast-paced clinic environment
* Skills required include: administering medication, obtaining vital signs, rooming patients, obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, immunizations, nebulizer treatments, urine dipstick/urinalysis, blood glucose via glucometer, chart preparation, ear lavage, hearing screening, height/weight, intradermal and intramuscular injections, labeling specimens, pap smear, positioning/draping, pulse oximetry, recording history/medications/allergies, scheduling appointments, setting up aseptic/sterile procedure trays, stocking supplies, strep and throat testing, and telephone triage
* Serves patient age groups including infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Phlebotomy interdisciplinary support available
