Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts available on a variable schedule
* Every other weekend required with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
* Block schedules approved but not required
* No on-call required; however, may be called if needed due to low census
* Patient ratio of 1:5 with day, night, and weekend ratios of 1:6
* Float required to other acute care departments within the hospital including up to 6 other acute care units
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* 30-bed unit with a daily census of 27 patients serving adult and geriatric populations
* Seasoned traveler required with at least one prior travel contract and minimum 1 year of experience
* Travel experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills include: blood product administration, central line care/management, feeding tube care and management, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, PCA, peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry, telemetry on-unit monitoring, use of rapid response/code teams, and wound care/wound vac
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Dress code for licensed nursing personnel (RN) is solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire; print tops are not acceptable
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during compliance process and prior to start
