Opportunity:
Family Medicine MA-C
Job Details:
* 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (no weekends)
* 13-week contract length
* No on-call or weekend requirements
* Float required between Central Seattle clinic and Downtown Seattle clinic depending on staffing needs
* Work in a team-based approach where MA to clinician ratio may vary (e.g., 1:1 or 2:3)
* Fast-paced clinic environment
* Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C); MA-R, MA-P, and MA-HT credentials are not accepted
* At least 6 months of experience as an MA-C required
* Experience in Family Medicine, Adult, or Pediatric Outpatient setting required
* OB experience preferred but not required
* EPIC charting experience required
* Scrub color: any color
* Serve patients across all age groups including infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Required certifications: BLS, CMA
* Skills include: administering medication, administration of TB test, blood glucose via glucometer, chart preparation, ear lavage, follow-up phone calls, general/family practice, hearing screening, height/weight, immunizations, internal medicine, intradermal and intramuscular injections, labeling specimens, nebulizer treatments, obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, obtaining vital signs, pap smear, pediatric outpatient clinic, pharmacy calls/patient refill requests, positioning/draping, pulse oximetry, recording history/medications/allergies, rooming patients, scheduling appointments, stocking supplies, strep testing, suture removal, telephone triage, urinalysis, and vision testing

This primary care clinic operates across multiple locations in Seattle and provides comprehensive family medicine services to a diverse patient population. The facility utilizes a team-based care model where medical assistants and clinicians collaborate closely to deliver high-quality outpatient care. The clinic supports a wide range of services and utilizes EPIC as its electronic health record system.
