Job Details:

* Block scheduling required
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* 48-hour shifts approved
* Patient ratio of 1:11
* Position will float between units
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Preferred patient diagnoses include pediatrics and adolescents
* At least 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Washington state license must be in hand at time of submission
* Scrub color: Any color
* Charting system: Epic
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT, Washington license
* Preferred equipment experience: Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Trilogy, LTV1250
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
* Required skills include: aerosol setup (mask and trach), BiPAP, CPAP, extubation, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), nitric oxide (INo), tracheostomy care and management, weaning from mechanical ventilation, rapid response, pulmonary hygiene, and pediatrics among others
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours

Facility:

This is a short-term acute care facility and Level II Trauma Center with Level II Pediatric Trauma Center designation. The facility operates as a teaching hospital with 629 total staffed beds and 644 licensed beds. It includes specialized units such as a Level 4 NICU, Medical ICU, Cardiac ICU, and PICU, providing comprehensive care across a wide range of specialties and patient populations.
