Special Procedures Technologist
Job Details:
* Support Interventional Cardiology (IC), Interventional Radiology (IR), Vascular, Structural Heart, and Neuro specialties
* Block scheduling with attempts made to schedule as consistently as possible
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Weeknight and weekend call required
* On-call requirement: 8 call days within a 4-week period, with a 2-hour call back minimum
* 1 call weekend every 3-5 weeks, covering Friday through Monday with 24-hour on-call Saturday and Sunday
* Daily caseload of approximately 15 patients
* Float within cath lab unit as needed; no floating to sister facilities required
* Pre-approved time off restrictions: 7 days
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Electronic charting system experience required
* Must be proficient with Philips imaging systems, Philips Xper hemo system, Philips IVUS/IFR/FFR, Boston IVUS/IFR/FFR, OCT, Roto, Penumbra, Angiojet, Jetstream, EKOS, and Shockwave equipment
* Top procedures include: Structural Heart (TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman), IR, Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac, and EP
* Required skills include: Angioplasty, Cardiac Stent Placement, Carotid Angiography, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Embolization, Endovascular Interventions, EVAR, IABP Placement/Removal, PCI, PTCA, Rotablator Atherectomy, Scrub Procedures, TEVAR, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, and Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT (R), BLS, and State License

This facility is a large hospital with 220 beds and 5 specialized procedural rooms, offering a comprehensive range of interventional services including structural heart, vascular, neuro, cardiac, and IR procedures. The facility supports an interdisciplinary team environment with access to IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more. The cath lab team is well-equipped with advanced imaging and hemodynamic technology to support complex, high-acuity procedures.
