RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on various days of the week
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs
* On-call required per unit needs
* Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
* Travel experience required
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for Labor & Delivery; antepartum or postpartum ratio up to 4:1
* Float required to other units within the same service line and may be required to float to sister facility
* Charting via Epic required
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred; Trauma Level II experience required
* Self-scheduling unit
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults
* Care for high-risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients
* Administer and manage medications including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, and Insulin drips
* Perform and assist with procedures including inductions, C-sections, cerclage, and D&C
* Skills include fetal heart rate monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and obstetrical triage

Facility:

This facility is a full-service hospital offering comprehensive Labor & Delivery services with a dedicated unit featuring 15 beds and 15 rooms. The unit is supported by an extensive interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and more. The facility handles a high volume of complex obstetric cases and provides a collaborative care environment with robust specialty support services.
