Opportunity:

RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shift schedule with no on-call requirements
* Weekend coverage required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Epic charting system experience required and must be noted in work history
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced
* California state license required in-hand when applying (EMSA not accepted)
* Two supervisor references required when applying
* Pre-approved time off: one block; no RTO within the first two weeks of assignment
* Maximum 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract highly preferred
* Community level experience required with facility births per month ranging from 100-200
* Must be comfortable with Labor & Delivery, triage of obstetrical patients, and use of external fetal heart monitoring
* Must be able to circulate and recover C-sections as well as assist with vaginal deliveries
* Experience with high-risk antepartum care including pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, HELLP Syndrome, preterm labor, and multiple gestation
* Must be proficient in neonatal resuscitation, APGAR scoring, and newborn assessment
* Experience with magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin, antihypertensives, and other obstetric medications required
* Ability to maintain central lines (CVC/PICC), administer blood products, and manage IV infusion pumps
* Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, and adults

The unit provides full obstetric care including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum services, supported by interdisciplinary teams and advanced monitoring capabilities.
