Opportunity:

RD/RDN - Dietitian

Job Details:

* Self-scheduling position with every other weekend coverage required
* No call required
* Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 15 patients per day
* Daily census of 139 with 139 beds
* 24 orientation hours required
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
* If one major holiday falls during assignment, traveler is expected to work it; if two major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work both; if three major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work two
* Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
* Required certifications: BLS, RD/RDN
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* LTAC experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required skills include adult outpatient/clinic care, calorie counts, developing plans of treatment, enteral nutrition (tube feedings), food-drug interactions, intake and output, nutrition assessments/reassessments, and total parenteral nutrition (TPN)
