Opportunity:

Maternal-Fetal Medicine Sonographer

Job Details:

* Work 8-hour day shifts Monday through Thursday with a 4-hour shift on Fridays
* Conduct diagnostic imaging studies across all trimesters including first trimester dating and early anatomic assessments
* Perform detailed second and third trimester anatomic assessments, fetal echocardiography, growth assessments, Doppler studies, and transvaginal ultrasound
* Work directly and exclusively with perinatologists in a high quality independent fetal imaging center
* Perform multiple forms of ultrasound imaging including transabdominal, transvaginal, multiplanar imaging, and multiple forms of Doppler assessment
* Conduct advanced fetal imaging studies including genetic sonograms, multiplanar imaging, and fetal echocardiography
* Perform ultrasounds related to invasive diagnostic testing such as genetic amniocentesis
* Conduct minimal gynecologic ultrasounds regarding findings relative to pregnancy including Mullerian anomaly evaluation, adnexal pathology, and cervical assessment
* Adhere to protocols established by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM)
* Check equipment and accessories to ensure proper working order and report any repair needs
* Evaluate patient history and symptoms and communicate clearly and professionally with patients and their families
* Complete exam charges and image documentation and forward to radiologist in a timely manner
* Utilize charting system EPIC
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS)
* Associates Degree in Ultrasound Technology or graduate of an accredited Sonography Program required
* Current American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS Registry) required
* Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience preferred
* Nuchal Translucency (NT) Certification preferred
* Bachelor's degree preferred
