Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Opportunity:

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* Patient ratio of 1:4/5
* Float between 2 MS/Tele units and must be open to floating where most needed
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call requirements
* 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid participating compact license required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Cerner charting system experience preferred
* Must be comfortable with standard med/surg telemetry equipment
* Liko lifts available in almost all patient rooms
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
* One telemetry unit has bedside monitors while the other utilizes remote monitoring
* ICU/PCU experience preferred but strong MS/Tele experience will be considered
* Skills required include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry, and starting and maintaining IVs
* Scrub color: Navy Blue

This short-term acute care teaching facility is a Level IV trauma center with 87 total staffed beds. The facility provides a full range of interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams. The organization maintains high standards for quality and patient safety, including medication administration protocols such as BCMA.
