Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Opportunity:

MS/Tele RN

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend required
* On-call required on rare occasions; if required, on-call is for the first 4 hours only
* Patient ratio of 1:5 on days, nights, and weekends
* Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
* 2 years of MS/Tele experience required
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Preferred certification: NIHSS
* Epic charting experience required
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Block scheduling available with manager approval based on unit needs
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* First-time travelers accepted
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Required skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central line care and management, BiPAP/CPAP management, peripheral line care and management, wound care and wound vac, and use of rapid response and code teams
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation

This acute care hospital operates with 304 staffed beds and provides a full range of inpatient medical and telemetry services. The facility utilizes Epic for electronic charting and offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support services to ensure high-quality patient care.
