Opportunity:
OT - Outpatient Lymphedema
Job Details:
* Schedule posted as 5x8s with 4x10s also available; manager is very flexible with scheduling
* No weekend shifts required
* No call required
* May float within facility/scope of practice to acute care inpatient facility as needed
* Work with OTs/OTAs, PT/PTAs, and SLPs on a regular basis alongside wound care clinic
* Work with compression fitters and lymphedema vendors supporting the lymphedema patient population
* Treat patients ranging from adolescents and young/middle adults to geriatrics with a mix of diagnoses including lymphedema care
* Daily census of 5-7 patients per day with a patient ratio of 5
* Hospital-based outpatient lymphedema patient population located within the outpatient rehab department
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, NBCOT
* Georgia OT License required (OK to pend at submission)
* Lymphedema Certification required if job description calls for a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT)
* If one or two major holidays fall during assignment period, traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall during assignment period, traveler is expected to work two
* Maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
* All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission
