Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Holiday rotation required
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Must be able to float to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery
* No floating to sister facilities required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Must have recent critical care experience
* RRT credential required; CRT not accepted
* Travel experience required
* South Carolina RCP (Respiratory Care Provider) license required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT)
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Free parking available
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Skills required include adult critical care, BiPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), mechanical ventilation weaning, arterial blood gas (ABG) interpretation, tracheostomy care and management, intubation assist, nitric oxide, and bronchoscopy among others
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

This facility is a large acute care hospital with 396 total staffed beds, offering a comprehensive range of clinical services across multiple units. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides an interdisciplinary support system that includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more.
