Opportunity:

RRT - NICU

Job Details:

* Position will float internally between departments - flexibility is required
* No on-call required
* Weekends required every other per CBA
* Block schedules are not required
* Patient ratios are dependent on hospital acuity
* Must be able to work independently within a Level 3 NICU autonomously
* Must have the skill and experience to work in a Level 2 regional trauma center
* All staff are considered VAR shift for the unit - shift assignment (days or nights) is typically confirmed one to two weeks in advance
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; at least 1 year required
* NICU Level III or IV experience required
* Neuro Trauma ICU experience required
* Washington state license must be in hand at time of submission
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, RRT, PALS or ENPC, CRT or RRT
* Required skills include: Adult Critical Care, ARDS, Aspiration, Assist in high risk delivery, Bag and mask, BiPAP, Bronchoscopy, Bubble CPAP, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BiPAP, Cystic fibrosis, Direct Intubation (Neonatal), Drawing arterial blood gases, ET Tube, Extubation, Fresh tracheostomy, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), High frequency jet ventilator, High frequency oscillator, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Nitric Oxide (INo), Oral airway placement, Oral/nasal suctioning, Oscillating Ventilator, Oxygen tanks, Pneumonia, Pressure/Volume Ventilator, Pulmonary Hygiene, Spirometry, Sputum specimen collection, Suctioning (ETT, NT), T-piece, Trach collar, Tracheostomy care/management, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Umbilical blood gases, and Weaning from mechanical ventilation
* Bunnell Jet Ventilation experience in NICU is highly preferred
* Patients served include neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Lift Teams, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary, and more
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
