RN/MS ONC NIGHTS-Metro Region

Job Details:

* Night shift position with various days of the week scheduled
* 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period required per unit needs
* No on-call required
* Patient ratios: 1:4 day shift, 1:5 night shift; ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs
* Candidates must be comfortable working in environments with flexible staffing ratios
* Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including potential float to sister facilities
* 36-bed Oncology/GYN-ONC/Palliative/Med Tele unit
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Scrub color: Navy
* Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, Colorado or Compact RN license; Oncology certification preferred but not required
* Chemo certifications (ONS/ONCC) preferred
* Required skills include: accessing/managing ports, administration of chemotherapy and blood products, central line care, PICC line care, neutropenic precautions, PCA pump management, IV push administration of chemotherapy, continuous infusion of chemotherapy, foley catheter insertion/management, wound care, sepsis management, and isolation precautions/PPE
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and social services
* Patients served are adult age group
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
* RTO is not allowed during the following periods: September 2?September 12, 2026; October 25?November 4, 2026; November 22?December 2, 2026; December 20?January 3, 2027
