Job Details:

* 3x12 night shift schedule
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Patient ratio of 1:5 for days, nights, and weekends
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Must be proficient in accessing and managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care and management, chest tubes, CVA care, feeding tube care and management, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions and PPE, IV insulin protocols, cardiac drip management, peripheral line care and management, PICC line management, post MI care, starting and maintaining IVs, surgical drains, telemetry monitoring, total joint replacement care, tracheostomy care and management, wound care and wound vac
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census of 18-25 patients
* 36-room, 50-bed unit
* Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, rapid response teams, and unit secretary
* Community hospital experience preferred
* One pre-approved time off request allowed
* State or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
