Open Position: RN - Mother Baby Postpartum

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1708.12

Opportunity:

RN - Postpartum / Newborn Nursery

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Call requirements to be discussed during interview
* 2+ years of hospital experience required
* Must have ability to care for high-risk antepartum patients as well as postpartum recoveries
* Newborn nursery experience required
* Perform IV placement and provide antepartum and newborn nursery care
* Float to Labor and Delivery as needed
* Documentation systems used: Meditech, CPN
* Advanced fetal monitoring (FM) is a plus; RNC-OB is a plus but not required
* Meditech experience preferred
* Required certifications: NRP, BLS
* Active Texas RN license required (temporary license will NOT be accepted)
* Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket
* No artificial nails, gel, next gen, or similar nail enhancements permitted
* Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
