Job Details:

* Block scheduling required
* Variable NOC/DAY shift, with DAY shift start date beginning 9/21
* Every other weekend required with 6-7 weekend shifts per contract
* No on-call required
* No unit floating required between units
* May be expected to float between 2 sister facilities
* Patient ratios of 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends
* Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Facility has 25 rooms
* Required procedures include arterial punctures and administering medication
* Required equipment includes Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Airvo2, and Panda
* Charting system experience required with Epic
* At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT
* Washington state license must be in hand at time of submission
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Must have experience with family maternity and OB, including C-sections
* Key skills required include adult critical care, BiPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, mechanical ventilation weaning, tracheostomy care and management, sputum specimen collection, drawing arterial blood gases, intubation assist, and interpretation of arterial blood gases

Facility:

This healthcare facility is part of a larger network of sister facilities and provides comprehensive respiratory therapy services supported by an interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries. The facility utilizes Epic as its charting system and maintains a strong focus on quality patient care across multiple age groups.
