Open Position: RN - Cath Lab

Cath Lab RN

Job Details:

* 4x10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with on-call responsibilities
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* Daily caseload of 8-10 cases per clinician
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience required with at least 1 year in Cath Lab
* Must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention including Structural
* Travel experience required
* No first-time Cath Lab travelers accepted
* Weekend requirement is call only
* Call requirements include 2-3 weekday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM as second call, and approximately one weekend every 4-5 weeks starting Friday at 7:00 PM through Monday at 6:30 AM
* First and second call rotates every 12 hours during weekend call periods
* 2-hour callback minimum
* Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs but will more than likely remain in Cath Lab
* Must be able to circulate in the lab and perform moderate sedation, assessments, medication administration, pre and post-op care, and call duties
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
* Active WV or Compact license required to start; pending license accepted for submission
* Candidates must have a permanent address more than 100 miles from the facility; candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
* Charting system: Cerner
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Free parking available for travelers
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years required
